Ethiopia Geisha (also known as Gesha) is considered one of the finest and most celebrated coffee varieties in the world, renowned for its exceptional quality—especially when grown at high altitudes. This variety originates from wild Ethiopian coffee populations and was collected from Ethiopian coffee forests in the 1930s. It is believed that its name is derived from the Gori Gesha Forest in Ethiopia.
